What’s included

The work behind
every visit

Lawn care

We cut to a consistent height through the growing season, edge along every border and path, and stripe where the grass allows. Spring brings scarifying and aeration where needed, and autumn brings overseeding of worn patches.

  • Regular cuts through the growing season
  • Edging along borders, paths and drives
  • Spring scarification and aeration
  • Autumn overseeding
  • Clippings collected and removed
Hedges & shrubs
Seasonal

Hedges and shrubs are trimmed to agreed shapes at the right time of year, with nesting season respected. We agree the height and shape you want and keep to it year after year.

  • Box, privet, laurel, yew, leylandii and most species
  • No cutting where birds are nesting
  • Light shaping and deadheading of ornamental shrubs
  • All cuttings collected and removed
Beds & borders
Monthly

Borders are weeded, tidied and checked on every monthly visit. In spring we cut back, divide overcrowded perennials and mulch. In autumn we prepare borders for winter.

  • Hand-weeding of all beds and borders
  • Spring cutback and mulching
  • Perennial division where needed
  • Autumn preparation and clearance
Leaves & seasonal planting
Autumn & spring

Leaf clearance is part of every programme, covering lawns, drives, paths and patios. Spring and summer bedding and autumn bulbs can be added to Standard and Premium programmes.

  • Lawn, drive and patio leaf clearance
  • Extra visits for high leaf-fall gardens
  • Spring and summer bedding supplied and planted
  • Autumn bulb planting

Through the year

Your garden,
season by season

Mar – May
Spring

Lawn programme resumes, borders cleared of winter debris, cut back and mulched. The busiest weeks for growth.

Jun – Aug
Summer

Full maintenance with the lawn at its best. Visits adapt to dry spells, and gardens are kept tidy while you’re away.

Sep – Nov
Autumn

Leaf clearance begins, beds are cut back and the garden is prepared for winter. Final cuts of the season.

Dec – Feb
Winter

Lighter visits for tidying, path clearing and storm damage, with a pre-Christmas tidy and first cuts as growth returns.

Common questions

Before you enquire

How is the monthly price worked out?

After the free survey we measure the garden and agree which services to include. The annual cost is split into 12 equal monthly payments, so winter costs the same as summer.

Can I change programme later?

Yes. Programmes can be adjusted at renewal, or during the year by agreement if your needs change.

Do I need to be home for visits?

No. Most clients are out when we visit. We message 30 minutes before arriving and secure any gates when we leave.

How do I pay?

By direct debit on the same date each month, with invoices sent in advance.

What if the weather stops a visit?

We’ll contact you to rearrange. Missed visits are rescheduled at no extra cost.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry £5 million public liability insurance and hold a registered Waste Carrier Licence.
